Improve Your Golf Swing; Cure Your Slice
Written by Administrator

Improve Your Golf Swing

Are you looking to immediately improve your golf swing and cut several strokes from a round of golf?  There is no quicker way than curing the disease a lot of golfers suffer from: the slice.  I want to offer up this quick and simple golf swing tip that is going to immediately help you improve your score with your next round of golf.

1)  Become aware of your stance and clubface.  Are you aligned squarely to your target?  It is easy to get off track, to be thinking of all the mechanics of how you should improve your golf swing, and lose the simple awareness of your alignment.  Stop.  Check it, before each shot.

2)    Next, become aware of the basic golf grip.  Just how firm is your grip?  If you’re your golf grip is too firm, you will not have a complete release, and the clubface will fly open.  Pay close attention to your right hand (if you are right-handed).  It is this hand that usually plays the dominant role in your golf swing.

3)   Finally, become aware of your shoulder rotation.  If you’re golf grip is too firm, it will impede the flow of the action of the shoulders, and the clubface will be delivered to the ball from out to inside of your target.

When looking to improve your golf swing by curing the slice, keep these three simple steps in mind: a) Stance/Alignment b) The Firmness of your golf grip c) The rotation of your shoulders.  If you pay close attention to these three things your slice should be a thing of the past, and you will improve your golf swing.
